Yesterday your local PCSO's 31905 and 31794 conducted a weapon sweep around Fowlers Park, Wolverhampton. A weapon sweep is a police tactic where officers search a specific area, such as parks for any items that could be used as weapons. The goal of the weapon sweep is to remove potentially dangerous items from the community and reduce a risk of violence. 

We are happy to confirm that no weapons were found whilst searching the park. Whilst completing the search, officers were able to engage with different community groups and offered relevant crime prevention advice to those in need.

PCSO's will be completing more weapon sweeps this week in order of keeping the community safe.
