Burglary – There has been no reports of burglary between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.

Theft of motor vehicle – There has been three reports of theft of a motor vehicle between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.

Between 10th May at 23.00 hours and 11th May 06.15 hours unknown offender/s stole a parked locked and unattended Toyota Yaris from Greenfinch Road, Smiths Wood. The victim stated that there was glass on the floor where the vehicle had been parked. 

 

On the 16th May 2025 between 14.00 hours and 14.30 hours unknown offenders have stolen a black Citroen DS3 by unknown means from Morris Croft, Smiths Wood. This was recovered on 17th May 2025 in the Shard End Area, after a member of the public had noticed it parked up with the engine still running and wires showing.

 

On the 18th May 2025 between the hours of 17.08 and 18.25 two unknown males in black clothing on an electric pedal cycle stole a Black Triumph Tiger 1050 by breaking the steering lock and pushing it away in an unknown direction.

Interference with a motor vehicle – There have been no reports of interference with a motor vehicle between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.



 

 

Castle Bromwich

Burglary – There has been no reports of burglary between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.

Theft of motor vehicle – There has been no reports of theft of a motor vehicle between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.

 

 

Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been two theft from a motor vehicle between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.



Theft from motor vehicle – There have been two reports of theft from motor vehicle, since Friday 9th May 2025.

Between the hours of 05.30 on Tuesday 13th May 2025 and 01.55 on Wednesday 14th May 2025 unknown offenders stole a number plate from a white ford transit van on Parkfield Drive. 

Between 06.00 hours on Thursday 15th May 2025 and 15.00 hours on Friday 16th May 2025 unknown offenders stole front and rear number plates from a Toyota Yaris from Elmfield Road, Castle Bromwich.

 

Interference with a motor vehicle - There have been no reports of interference with a motor vehicle between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.

 

Kingshurst

 

Burglary – There has been no reports of a residential burglary between Friday 9th May 2025 and Tuesday 20th May 2025.

There has been one burglary of a business which was at St Anthony’s Church between Sunday 11th May 2025 at 17.40 and Wednesday 14th May 2025. Unknown offenders have broken a window to the rear of the church and stole a candle box containing cash.

What’s been happening? Good news 

 

Your local officers have arrested 7 people this week in relation to the following offences….breach of a community protection order, a breach of court order for domestic violence offence, 2 domestic violence offence, fail to appear and theft of a motor vehicle and a domestic harassment.

 

The Smiths Wood neighbourhood team helped out at the Police volunteering event that was held on Saturday 17th May 2025 held at Chelmsley Wood Police Station. This was a great event and have a list of people who are interested in joining the Chelmsley Wood Street Watch Scheme and Police Cadets scheme.

 

One of your local PCSO’s hosted a cuppa with a copper at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens on Saturday 17th May 2025. 

 

Local officers and PCSO Took, took part in a knife sweep in Babbs Smiths, Lanchester Park in company of the Police Dog handler and his dog.
