New video doorbells to protect victims of domestic stalking and harassment Free video doorbells are being distributed to medium and high-risk victims of domestic stalking in a £10k project proudly funded by my office. The new devices form part of my ‘victims first’ commitment and will provide distraught victims with extra reassurance while helping them to capture vital evidence to secure justice. New officers on the way thanks to Neighbourhood Policing boost Communities across County Durham and Darlington will benefit from an extra 26 neighbourhood officers over the next 12 months as part of the Government’s new Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee – with a further tranche expected next year. The Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee is part of a national effort to reinvigorate neighbourhood policing and reconnect communities with local police teams with named and contactable officers for every neighbourhood.
