“THIS WEEK IN SIX” Over the past few days, your local police have: Hosted a coffee morning at The Hub, Ashmore Park, to discuss community concerns and how police can support with matters that are important to you. Charged a male for shop theft offences. Attended a multi-agency hoarding event at Bescot Stadium, along with partner agencies from across the West Midlands, learning about the subject and how we can offer support. Conducted hotspot patrols, engagements and weapon sweeps across Wednesfield and Heath Town, including areas such as Bentley Bridge, Ashmore Park, Crossways, Chervil Rise and Heath Park. Arrested two males for weapons offences. After fleeing from officers, the pair were detained and arrested following the finding of a large machete. Both were taken into policy custody. Held a drop-in surgery in Heath Town at Stratton Street Community Centre. We hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend.
