INJUNCTION GRANTED AGAINST CARL JOHN WHITE

Trafford Council’s Community Safety Team, with whom we work closely (and who always nick our biscuits), have secured an Injunction Order against Carl John White  at Manchester County Court.

The order was granted following repeated reports of aggressive, threatening and abusive behaviour in Urmston Town Centre, including the Eden Square Shopping Centre, and wider areas of Trafford, including Moss Road in Partington.

The injunction, which is in place until April 2028, prohibits Mr White from:

🔹 Using threatening, abusive or disorderly behaviour anywhere in Trafford
🔹 Possessing any bladed article or weapon in Trafford
🔹 Entering Eden Square Shopping Centre, Golden Hill Park, or Urmston Railway Station (except when passing through by train)
🔹 Attending or being on Moss Road in Partington

A power of arrest is attached to the first two prohibitions.  If White breaches the injunction, he can expect to be transported to custody, where there won’t be biscuits!

This action follows multiple incidents involving public disorder, threats with weapons, and distress caused to members of the public and frontline workers.

We want to thank the community, local businesses, and our partners at Trafford Council for their support.  This outcome sends a clear message that violence, intimidation and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities.
