You Said, We did - ASB
Hello
We are working hard to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) along Swansea Bay / Promenade
Following reports of ASB within these areas we (have conducted high visibility patrols) have targeted our patrols to offer reassurance to persons attending at yoga classes on the beach on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. On Thursday evening (15th) PCSO Tancock was present in the area along with Paul Evans from Swansea Council Community Safety Team.
We have also identified a number of youths involved in the incidents 2 weeks ago and appropriate action has been taken following discussions with the teacher of the class. Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
Anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of unacceptable activity that causes harm to an individual, to their community or to their environment. This could be an action by someone else that leaves you feeling alarmed, harassed, or distressed. It also includes fear of crime or concern for public safety, public disorder, or public nuisance.
If you are experiencing problems with anti-social behaviour, or have any concerns about it, or other community safety issues, you should contact your local council or report this to us online. In an emergency, if you or your property are at risk, or a crime is in progress call 999. Do you need to speak to the police but don’t require an emergency response? You can make an online report via our website https://www.south-wales.police.uk, send us a private message via Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
