Summer Time Crime Prevention Message

Now that the warmer weather is here, it is very tempting to open your vehicles windows to cool it down and blast the air conditioning on before your journey. If you are going to do this please ensure you remain with your vehicle at all times, never leave it unattended.

If you are having a BBQ over the weekend/s ensure all your doors and windows to the front of your property are shut and locked. Make sure you plan ahead if you're drinking alcohol over the weekend ensure you have a designated driver to aid a safe journey home for all.

Please do not advertise on social media that you are all out at a BBQ, party, on holiday or going on holiday etc. Use timer switches to plug lamps in, to come on at different times of day and night to show movement in your home. Ensure all doors and windows are shut and locked, Invest in anti-snap locks for all your exterior doors. Never leave valuables on display.
