Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

Dear Resident,

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding drug dealing/ drug use, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.  

Drug dealing and taking is a key priority we are committed to tackle. Drug dealers regularly exploit young and vulnerable people and is linked with antisocial behaviour and violent crimes.   

The team have been out on the ward using our stop and search powers. Five searches completed. Three individuals found in possession of herbal cannabis. Suitable punishments issued for all three.
