🔪‘Operation Sceptre’ 🔪

Operation Sceptre, a national week of action to tackle knife crime, and is scheduled to take place next week. This initiative involves police forces across England and Wales collaborating to reduce knife crime through various strategies, including early intervention, education, and enforcement.

These regular visits help to promote youth engagement work with the young people at each ofour secondary schools. Thus enabling the team to gain insights into their perspectives, concerns, and challenges, in a more friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Thank you to Mrs Brenda Smith for her support, attendance and time today - also to the headteacher and staff for accommodating todays visit and especially to those students who engaged with the team.
