South Rural Task Force are investigating a flagstone theft from a property on Ashfield Terrace, Appley Bridge having occurred overnight Wednesday 14th May into Thursday 15th May.  The offenders will have had to be on scene for a significant amount of time due to the size and weight of the flags and have left via Appley Lane North in a suitable vehicle to carry the flagstone.  A photograph is attached of one of the many areas the flags were lifted from.  We would advise all to be extra vigilant as it is not uncommon for a spate of this type of offence.  Any information to the team please, quoting log reference LC-20250515-0282.
