Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Friday 9 May in Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a flat above a shop was entered through a window but nothing was taken as far as we know. The shop below was also broken into. Burglary Other At 5.44pm on Friday 9 May on Willow Drive, Sherwood Enterprise Park, Annesley, three unknown males prised open the front door to the Cotton Traders Distribution Centre, damaging the door, and entered the building. When challenged they claimed they were looking for a job, and were asked to leave which they did. Described as two white males, 5-08” and 5-10” tall and a black male 6-01” tall. All dressed in black and covering their faces with their hands. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft At 3.27pm on Sunday 11 May outside the Co-op Food store on Nottingham Road, Selston, an electric scooter was stolen by a young male, 16 year old, wearing a black Adidas t-shirt. The scooter was later recovered. Between the morning of Monday 12 and 12.50pm on Tuesday 13 May in Edward Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a wheelie refuse bin was stolen from the front of a property. Between 6.00pm and 7.20pm on Wednesday 14 May in Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a black Carrera bike, left unsecured round the corner at the Kirkby Leisure Centre, was stolen. Criminal Damage At 5.43pm on Monday 12 May in Green Crescent, Selston, a report of a group of around 15 male and female teenagers, approximately 14 year old, damaging the fence panels to a property and swearing and shouting at the owner. A further call later in the day said some of the teenagers were jumping the fence, in and out of the garden, frightening the callers children. ASB At 6.42pm on Tuesday 13 May in Lea Lane, Selston, three 12/13year old teenagers had jumped over two fences to get onto land where goats were kept to use a trampoline.
