Police are investigating a report a road rage incident where initially a low impact non injury RTC occurred approx. 1900hrs on 7th May at the temp traffic lights Dragon Road Harrogate.

This was between a blue BMW and a Renault Traffic van behind.

It is alleged that the drivers have had a heated argument. They have then driven off to Grove Road to discuss further due to traffic flow. This is described to be outside Grove Road community school and outside the Fire Station.

A further heated argument has taken place and the male driver of the van has attempted to leave as he was concerned re the behaviour of the BMW driver. The BMW driver is alleged to have blocked the van driver’s door and grabbed hold of him pushing on his chest. The van driver has managed to free himself and drives off. The BMW driver leaves turning left onto Skipton road.
