Fraudulent use of Disabled Parking Permits

Dear Resident,

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Fraud, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

The team have been out working with South West Fraud Department cracking down on misuse of Disabled Parking Permits (Blue Badge). 5 seizures of misuse, all returned to owning boroughs for review of ownership. 1 arrest for handling stolen badge, 1 arrested for posession of a counterfeit badge and another arrested for fraud by false representation. A successful operation.
