Year 6 Transition Talks

Good afternoon,

Next week sees the start of our annual visits to the majority of primary schools in the area talking to year 6 children about transitioning from primary to secondary schools. Officers from the Child Centred Policing Team will visit the classes talking about personal safety, bullying, homework, safe travel to and from school as well as who to go to for help and support.

These sessions are always very well received and always lead to some interesting conversations and questions from the children. Hopefully our presence in schools is becoming more normal now but don't be surprised or worried should your children return home having met us in school!!!
