Cop at the Council - Op Sceptre - Tuesday 20th May.

Pop down and see your local PCSO Ryun Beeson – Tuesday  20th May.

As part of part of Sceptre week we will be conducting a week of action to combat knife crime Between Monday 19 and Sunday 25 May Sceptre, is a national knife crime initiative.

Knife related crime remains low in Hertfordshire, compared to other parts of the country, but the campaign aims to raise awareness that carrying a knife is illegal and will not help to keep you safe.

As part of Sceptre I am holding a community engagement event in Rickmansworth  and it would be great to see you.

Between 12pm and 2pm on Tuesday  20th May I will be stationed in the foyer of Three Rivers House on Northway, WD3 1RL.

This session will be focusing on knife crime and how members of the public feel, you will be able to discus any concerns you have around knife crime.

I will also be able to  discuss face-to-face any concerns you may have regarding neighbourhood issues in your area. I can signpost you to other support services where required, as well as offer crime prevention advice.

If you cannot make this date or time, you can respond to this message directly with any questions or concerns you may have.

A survey will also is running to gauge residents’ concerns about knife crime and thoughts on how police are tackling the issue in Hertfordshire. Add your thoughts to the knife crime survey: https://orlo.uk/P8puU
