Jodie Green, of Elgar Avenue in Malvern, was today (Wednesday 14th May) sentenced to 8 weeks in prison.

The 32-year-old was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 13th May) and was later charged with two counts of theft.

PC David Olczak of the Safer Neighbourhood team said “I spotted Jodie whilst on foot in the Pickersleigh area of Malvern yesterday afternoon, knowing that she had been outstanding for thefts and warrants for some time and evading Police”. 

She was remanded overnight and appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court this morning where she was handed the sentence.
