We have arrested a man after finding cocaine inside Vaseline tubs in Tamworth. 

Officers from our major and organised crime proactive team stopped a car on the forecourt of a car wash this afternoon (Wednesday 14 May). The driver, who was the only one in the car, was searched. 

We found £620 in cash, a phone and three separate Vaseline tubs with cocaine inside. 

A 25-year-old man, from London, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. 

We’re continuing to act proactively against people committing high-harm offences across Staffordshire.
