Appeal following serious collision in Deal


Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a serious collision in Deal.

Shortly after 6.30pm on Tuesday 13 May 2025, a black Ford Transit Tipper was travelling along Broad Street towards Queen Street, when it was involved in a collision with a cyclist on a yellow bike.

The cyclist, a teenage boy, was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested in relation to the incident and has since been released on bail.

Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries and urge anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
