After receiving information from a member of the public, officers on routine patrol sighted a vehicle believed to be involved in criminal activity in the Middleton area.

The vehicle was subsequently stopped, the driver and vehicle were searched, this resulted in a number of offensive weapons being discovered in the vehicle, consequently, the driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized for being used in crime.
