Flintshire North Review

Good Afternoon Flintshire North!

R1 and NPT are with you today. 66 calls for service in the last 24h - 10 of which were P0 🚨

🏡 8 x Domestic Incidents
🚑 3 x Concern for Safety
✖️ 6 x Anti Social Behaviour

🚔 5 Arrests in the last 24.
🚗 We posted yesterday regarding a vehicle which failed to stop and struck a building the perpetrators were arrested for ; Fail to stop (for police), Fail to stop (at an RTC), Dangerous Driving, Drug Driving, Displaying a fraudulent VRM. No insurance & No licence (try saying that three times fast) They were charged prior to leaving custody - with one NOT leaving custody as they were already wanted for failing to appear #Unlucky
🚗 1 x Drug Driving 🍺 1 x Drunk & Disorderly ✖️ 1 x Assault (not domestic related)

👮🏾‍♀️ 30 Incidents came over to our screen for a write up with 4 recorded as crimes (so far)

🚲 We've seen a rise in opportunistic thefts - things like bikes and tools which are unattended. Please be vigilant, and keep your eyes out for our bike marking events.

📞 I review a LOT of jobs, picking through for anything I think is particularly interesting for the updates, and for force priorities and community stuff. Many, many calls start with "I've called *the correct service* but I'm not getting anywhere so I've called you"  We cannot deal with a number of these incidents - If you have contacted the RSPCA regarding an animal, they have their own grading system, we can't change that and don't have the same powers. If you've contacted the council for a noise complaint, uncollected rubbish or a parking issue - we also don't have the correct powers to deal with that. If you've called an ambulance, we can't speed it up.
All of these services, if they need police assistance will call us.

☎️ If you have immediate concerns and someone is going to come to Imminent harm then that's 999 - if the incident has happened and there's no immediate danger 101 or our online reporting tool.

🐶Today it's PD Polly enjoying some glorious sunshine  💙  Speaking of glorious sunshine, I would like to take this opportunity to remind owners that leaving dogs in cars in hot weather is extremely dangerous and they can very quickly overheat and come to serious harm. (This one you can ring the police for as there is an immediate concern) You risk having your window smashed, and prosecution.

💻 The system we use is having a short downtime today for maintenance which means, I can't possibly sit and do paperwork - what. a. shame. I'll be out causing a nuisance asap, nothing as smashing as yesterday though 👀  have a wonderful day Stay Safe - 3604.
