We are appealing for witnesses and information in connection to a report of a dog attack in a St Austell park in which a pet was injured. Officers would like to identify and speak to the owner of a light-brown-coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier believed to have been involved in the incident at around 8am on Thursday 24 April in Poltair Park. It was reported that the dog attacked a black-and-white-coloured English Pointer which subsequently needed emergency vet treatment. The owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is described as a white man, aged between 60 and 80, 5ft 10in tall, of slim build and with short hair. He was wearing tinted glasses and all-black-coloured clothing at the time of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 50250101233.
