You will have seen myself and #PCSODave along with Rory and Anna (Civil Enforcement Officers) from Hampshire County Council (HCC) this morning at Velmead School.  Many residents have stated just how poor the parking is and that people are parking illegally.  I met many parents walking their children to school.  Although there were a few issues with the parking, none of this was illegal or obstructive.

We receive many reports of parking issues throughout Hart South and it is my intention that jointly with HCC we will visit ALL of the schools as often as we can.  Illegal parking will not be tolerated and where people are seen to be doing so, they will receive enforcement notices.  This also goes for the driving too.  My expectation is that people will park considerately and drive safely at all times.
