Operation Sceptre Week: Standing Together Against Knife Crime

🚨 Operation Sceptre Week: Standing Together Against Knife Crime 🚨

From Monday 12th May to Sunday 19th May, Humberside Police is working alongside our incredible community to support Operation Sceptre, a national initiative aimed at reducing knife crime and keeping our neighbourhoods safe.

Safety starts with us—our families, our streets, our schools. That’s why we’re asking for your help. Whether it’s having a conversation with young people about the dangers of carrying knives, encouraging responsible disposal, or simply looking out for one another, every small action makes a difference.

🔹 Knife surrender bins will be available at designated police stations—no questions asked. If you or someone you know has a knife they no longer need, drop it off and help protect lives

🔹 Our officers will be visiting local schools and community hubs to raise awareness and engage with young people about making positive choices.

🔹 We’re here to listen—if you’re concerned about knife crime or need support, please reach out. We’re stronger when we work together.

Knife crime is more than statistics—it’s about real people, real families, and real futures. Let’s come together to keep Humberside safe for everyone.
