This is a warning to all Lichfield Local Policing Team (LPT) Neighbourhood Watch area coordinators

It has been brought to our attention that posters purporting to have been generated by Neighbourhood Watch (NW) have been posted around Lichfield city centre, erroneously naming an individual and their address.

On no account whatsoever were these generated and produced by NW.

The posters and the individual/s who produced them are breaking the law.

The posters completely go against our core values, and we had no part whatsoever in their production.

NW, Staffordshire Police and the Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Ben Adams have been notified about them.

Hopefully the posters will be removed.
