Foot patrol of Carlyon Bay and Crinnis Beach

Sgt Easter and PCSO Ferguson completed foot patrol of Carlyon Bay and Crinnis Beach yesterday evening and spoke to security staff and bar staff who reported no issues. The Neighbourhood Team are aware of reported incidents of ASB and a recent reported assault which is being investigated with named suspects identified. We understand that there have been a number of incidents reported on community group pages on Facebook however these have not been reported to the police. We do not routinely monitor these community groups. Whilst the Neighbourhood Team cannot patrol multiple locations at one time (our policing area also includes the St Blazey, Fowey, Lostwithiel, Mevagissey and the Clay Villages areas) we do make our best efforts to maintain a presence in locations where ASB has been identified.

We would encourage any incidents of ASB to be reported to the police with the best means for any non urgent matters via 101@dc.police.uk. If there are criminal offences ongoing such disorder or violence please call 999.
