Can you help us identify this man?

Police responded to a robbery at the Co-op in Ham Road, Shoreham, which happened just after 7am yesterday.

A man entered the shop and threatened staff with a hammer, and got away with a quantity of cash.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 5’11” and of large, stocky build with copper-coloured hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

We are linking this robbery to an incident at Shoreham News in nearby Buckingham Road moments earlier, where a man is reported to have threatened staff and tried to steal cigarettes.

No injuries were reported from either incident.
