RECENT BURGLARY IN THE MALLINGS AREA

Good afternoon,

There have been 2 recent burglaries in the Aylesford and Larkfield area. An address on Woodland Road has been burgled during the early hours of the morning on the 05/05/2025 whereby a suspect has gained entry into the rear of the property and has stolen £15K worth of items. This clearly will have a negative effect on the family. Good news is a female was arrested in connection with this burglary and the suspect has been identified and will be arrested in due course.

Please can all residents in all my area ensure they report suspicious behaviour where there are people wearing balaclava and gloves. I have also attached a photo of the suspect for everyone's reference. When investing in your properties to reduce crime CCTV is always a good deterrent and can assist officers with identifying suspects and their vehicles. I am currently doing an NVQ in Crime Prevention so although not qualified yet I can give advice about securing your properties.

The last 2 days have been really busy dealing with a number of complaints from local residents regarding ASB at Morrisons in Larkfield and East Malling on Temple Way as well as burnt out vehicles in North Aylesford. I have also attended a number of 999 calls to assist with the local policing team. This included a Road Traffic Accident and a mental health incident.

I will be attending Aylesford Parish Council meeting on the 13th May 2025 (999 call dependant).

Hopefully everyone has been enjoying the good weather.

Thanks
