Last Friday saw our Mini Police officers from Gamesley Primary School take part in Operation Walksafe - this followed on from work we had done regarding Pedestrian Safety. This was carried out with PCSO Turner from the Glossop Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team and PC Nichols and PCSO George from the Gamesley Safer Neighbourhood Team. The children had a walk around the local area and sprayed temporary 'Look Up' signs on the pavement to remind people to look up from their phones especially when crossing the road. Thank you to the children and school staff for doing great work! |
