Dear Resident

During the hours of darkness on the 9/5/25 an address on Rogersfield has been subject to a residential burglary during which a vehicle has been stolen. Entry has been gained via snapping the lock on the rear patio doors and taking keys from within.

Enquiries suggest that the offence may have occurred between 3 and 4 am 9/5 with a suspicious vehicle and individual being spotted near to number 70 Rogersfield at approx 03:15. We believe the vehicle once stolen has then headed onto the A59 towards Yorkshire.

If you live in the Rogersfield area and have CCTV can you check your footage for any suspicious person or vehicle activity between 3 and 4 am 9/5 and if anything of note please reply to ribblevalley.npt@lancashire.police.uk quoting log LC-20250509-0239. 

Similarly if you have any footage of the likely routes to the A59 of Whitehalgh Lane and Whalley Road and have a Volkswagen Golf R in convoy with any other vehicles please let us know.
