Burglary at 14 Ribbleton Grove, Pollard Park.

Dear Residents

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred between 10/05/2025 & 11/05/2025 between 1350hrs & 0030hrs:

Locus is a ground floor flat which is the first flat in the block. This flat has a large living room window which opens towards inside and can be accessed via banking from outside. Between the times and dates stated unknown suspects have gained entry into the property via the living room window which was left ajar on a latch by the victim.
Suspects on gaining entry have conducted the search of the premises and stolen an old used iPhone 13, a apple iWatch and some fake gold jewellery from the victims bedroom. They have then made good of there escape using the point on entry un-noticed.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it.

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock.

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police. Should you have any information about either burglary please contact us on 101.

Thanks
