I just wanted to reach out and send a message with regards to the incident currently on going in Blackpool Town Centre near to Winter Gardens. 

I am fully aware and appreciate the impact that this incident will be having on your businesses. We are currently working with our partners from the Fire Service and the Ambulance Service to bring the incident to a safe and swift conclusion. You will see a lot of officers in the town centre while this incident is going on and I will also be deploying a visible presence into the town centre at the conclusion to offer reassurance to the community.
