I hope you are enjoying the wonderful weather we are having this weekend!  

I wanted to make you aware of a incident of note overnight in Measham which particularly applies to caravan/motorhome owners.  In the early hours of this morning (0200hrs) two males were disturbed trying to steal a motorhome in the Dysons Close area of Measham. A white car was at the scene when the would be thief's were disturbed.

If you do own a motorhome or caravan please take measures to secure it.  Block it in with another vehicle if possible, consider using a steering wheel lock for motorhomes and if able leave it somewhere which is covered by CCTV/Ring doorbell.

If you do see any suspicious activity please contact Police by 101 or 999 as appropriate.
