Ellesmere Port & Neston Police Neighbourhood Crime update - 28 April to 11 May 2025


Please note this is not a complete list of all incidents reported during this period - it is purely for the information of local residents to make them aware of incidents that have taken place within their area.

Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  


•    Ellesmere Port Town
•    Bodium Court – Entry gained into property via unknown means during the early hours of the morning. A silver Macbook, red iPhone, series 7 Apple watch and keys to a BMW 218i, KE22 LFU, along with the vehicle. – Vehicle located crashed into a lamp post on Moreton Road, Wirral and male offender located with stolen property.  Male arrested and charged. 


 

 

 

 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  


•    Ellesmere Port Town
•    Park Road – Outer pane of glass smashed in a side window at the property by unknown male.
•    Rossmore
•    Westminster Road – Unknown male, wearing a grey hoodie smashed side window of property.


ELLESMERE PORT WEST  


•    Ledsham and Manor
•    Dudleston Road - Unknown offender cuts down magnolia tree from residential garden before dumping it onto the footpath.
    Willaston and Thornton
•    Mill Lane – Unknown offender/s enter small holding and smash plate glass window in field shelter.


 

 

 

 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  


•    Rossmore
•    Lower Mersey Street – Ford Fiesta, containing two unknown males, pulled up outside the linen room of the ‘Holiday Inn’.  The driver got out of the vehicle and took 6 to 10 packs of fresh white towels (5 in each pack) which were in the delivery cage before driving off. 


ELLESMERE PORT WEST  


•    Sutton
•    Ascot Drive – Parcel taken from doorstep.


 

 

 

 

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  


•    Ellesmere Port Town
•    Bodium Court - BMW 218i, KE22 LFU taken after keys obtained during a burglary. – Vehicle located crashed into a lamp post on Moreton Road, Wirral and male offender located with other property stolen from the address. – Male arrested and charged.
•    Rossmore
•    Anchor Drive – White Citroen Dispatch, AV72 MYN taken by unknown means from residential driveway.


Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  


•    Ellesmere Port Town
•    Cheshire Oaks Way - Land Rover Defender, parked in car park has top of vehicle snorkel removed and taken by an unknown male.
•    Whitby
•    Stanney Lane – Entry gained into Ford Fusion by forcing window open.  Garden vouchers, cash and disability permit taken. 


Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  


•    Ellesmere Port Town
•    Marina Drive – Vauxhall Corsa kicked by intoxicated male who has stepped out on to road. – Male arrested.
•    Briarfield Road – Male reported walking along road causing damage to motor vehicles.  One vehicle had the rear registration plate ripped off (no further details provided). – Male located and detained, but vehicle owner did not wish to pursue a complaint.


ELLESMERE PORT WEST  


•    Willaston and Thornton
•    Neston Road – Mercedes A180, whilst parked at roadside scratched along the length of vehicle.
•    Grange
•    The Boulevard – Peugeot Partner, parked at roadside has windows smashed with a hammer and tyres slashed with an unknown object.
