Good afternoon,

Unfortunately, this will be my final Facebook post as a PCSO as I will be starting training as a PC in the coming days. Fear not as the Town North beat will be left in the very capable hands of PC O’ROURKE. Over the past couple of days, PCSO Sal and I have been busy across the Town North & South beats, we have been:

🚫 Responding to various reports of Anti-Social Behaviour across both beats. Specifically, near Burton Park where people were spotted acting suspiciously, believed to be looking to gain access to the buildings.  Then on the Melton Country Park where there was a report of people starting a fire in the park.

🐑 Responding to a report of multiple sheep close by to the services on the A46 with the concern that they may walk out on to the A46. Whilst dealing with this there was another report of a person walking along the central reservation, so we kept an eye out for this too.

🚔 Responding to a report of the smell of cannabis on the Town South beat and speaking with the person who reported it to establish more details.

📱 Offering Neighbourhood Link sign-ups to different areas so that everybody is aware what's happening where they live.

🚨 General hi-visibility patrols across both beats targeting areas where we have previously had issues.
