***A productive day out in the community for PCSO Furmidge and PC Wheelwright***

Today PCSO Furmidge and PC Wheelwright took part in a number of valuable community-focused activities.

The day began with them both attending the  VE Day Event  at the Methodist Church at Killamarsh - an excellent way to engage with members of the community and foster stronger local relationships in a welcoming environment.

Following this, both officers visited Eckington Civic to interact with the local residents at an event run by North East Derbyshire Council with regards to a local planning consultation.

Visits like these are key to building trust with local people and encouraging positive relationships between police and to see what people are thinking about in the area for the future.

A productive day focused on strengthening community ties!
