Team Activities


Dear resident 

Hope you are all well and having a good start to your week. 

 

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Blakenall/Leamore/Birchills and Beechdale area.

 

  • The team took part in a Off Road Bike operation on the 2nd May- this was alongside traffic officers and Walsall Council across the neighbourhood area. There were x4 arrests made in total and x2 bikes seized as part of the operation. X1 of the bikes was a stolen bike- which was returned to its rightful owner. 
  • Continuing patrols across the neighbourhood area in relation to off Road bikes- Remington Road, Goscote Lane/Swannies Field/The lea and Barracks Lane.
  • PCSO Waddington attended the Blakenall Family Hub- 275 Blakenall Heath, Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 1HJ linking in with the team (06/05/25).
  • Members of the team, attended VE day celebrations held at the Dudley Fields Community Centre- Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 2NN (10/05/25)
  • Joint visits conducted with Green Sq Accord Housing (08/05/25) in the Carl st area of Bloxwich.
  • The team attended Sainsbury’s Reedswood for a crime prevention and WM Now stall – Sunday afternoon (11th).
