Here are the crime updates for the Lozells and East Handsworth area from 01/04/2025 and 01/05/2025. 

 

Branksome Avenue – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 4pm on 31/03/2025 and 01/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Mercedes 200D. Offenders gained entry by unknown means. Offenders stole property and a jacket.

St Peters Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10pm on 03/04/2025 and 5.30am on 04/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota Prius. Offenders gained entry and stole it by unknown means.

Robert Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 6pm on 02/04/2025 and 3.57am on 04/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford Fiesta. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means.

Holly Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 8pm on 02/04/2025 and 1pm on 03/04/2025, unknown persons approached an insecure, parked and unattended Audi A3. Offenders gained access to vehicle and stole a box of baby wipes.

Douglas Road – Theft from a vehicle other than a motor vehicle – Between 5pm on 03/04/2025 and 6am on 04/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Vauxhall Grandland. Offenders forced entry to vehicle by unknown means and stole a digital camera. 

Churchill Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 4pm and 8pm on 05/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Hyundai Ioniq 5. Offenders gained entry to vehicle and stole it by unknown means. 

Putney Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 10pm on 06/04/2025 and 8.30am on 07/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota MPV. Offenders removed and stole front/ rear number plates from vehicle by unknown means. 

Linwood Road – Burglary of unconnected building – Between 2am and 5am on 07/04/2025, unknown persons approached rear garden by fence hopping. Offenders forced open a plastic shed door by damaging the padlock, entering the shed.  Offenders stole a bike and numerous tools.

Putney Road – Theft from a motor vehicle - Between 1.30am and 11.25am on 08/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Audi A3. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means. Offenders stole the headlights, bumper, both doors on passenger side and passenger side wing. Offenders have ripped glove box apart and stolen the contents. 

York Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 6pm on 07/04/2025 and 8am on 08/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Audi A5. Offenders have removed and stolen front / rear number plates. 

Hall Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 6.30pm on 09/04/2025 and 9.58am on 10/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Vauxhall Corsa. Offenders have smashed the front passenger side window, stole front bumper and bonnet. 

Soho Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 6am and 6.50am on 11/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Seat Ibiza. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means. Bank card stolen.

Whateley Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 4pm on 16/04/2025 and 10am on 17/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota Prius. Offenders removed front / rear number plates and taxi licence plate by unknown means.

Grove Lane – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10.28pm and 10.31pm on 21/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Hyundai Ioniq 5. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Hutton Road – Theft of a motor vehicle -Between 10.30pm on 22/04/2025 and 11am on 23/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Audi A1. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means and stole vehicle.

Grosvenor Road – Theft of a motor vehicle -Between 10pm on 21/04/2025 and 7am on 22/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford Fiesta. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means and stole vehicle.

Livingstone Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10pm on 23/04/2025 and 6.40am on 24/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Kia. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means and stole vehicle. Offenders ripped out the glove box in vehicle. 

Hamstead Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 12am on 22/04/2025 and 12pm on 24/04/2025, unknown persons approached a insecure, parked and unattended Toyota Auris. Offenders stole a backpack and documents. 

Albert Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10pm on 24/04/2025 and 6.25am on 25/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford Fiesta. Offenders have gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means.

Rolands Gardens = Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 11pm on 27/04/2025 and 8am on 28/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Audi A3. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Hockley Flyover – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 1.15 and 1.40pm on 30/04/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Jeep Avenger. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means.

  • Officers attended the Change is coming to Lozells event at Aspire and Succeed. The event was a local discussion on shaping a future around healthcare provision in the local community.

  • On the 17/04/2025 Pcso Whitehouse and Pcso Umran attended Brimingham Settlements Sports & Community Centre alongside the Fire Service.

  • On 18/04/2025 Good Friday – Officers from the team assisted the Walk of Witness Parade.

  • 20/04/2025 – Building bridges with the community. PCSO Whitehouse and PCSO Umran visited Shri Guru Ravidass Bhawan to connect with the local community.
