Our March neighbourhood officers have carried out two drugs warrants in Chatteris this week:

On Wednesday morning, they carried out a warrant in Furrowfields Road. Both suspected class A and class B drugs were seized from a house, as well as cash, designer goods and electronic devices. A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and has been bailed until August. A 26-year-old man was also arrested and has since been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, ketamine, and cannabis, as well as possession of criminal property. He appeared in court yesterday where he was bailed until a hearing next month.

This morning (Friday 9 May), they carried out a warrant in Railway Lane due to information about the supply of drugs. A large amount of suspected class A drugs were seized and a woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to supply class A drugs, and is currently in custody.
