After recent reports of a theft of motor vehicle, officers have been able to identify an offender and in less than 24 hours since the offence was committed a suspect has been arrested and is in custody. 

This follows numerous reports of vehicles being stolen and ridden dangerously in the Ashford area. 

Officers have successfully recovered two stolen motorbikes linked to this investigation as well as tools used in the thefts themselves. 

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant and keep vehicles secure. Please report any suspicious activity to Kent Police through the appropriate channels.
