Witness appeal following assaults in Poole


Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following reports that two people were assaulted in Poole.

 

It was reported that at around 8.30pm on Wednesday 7 May 2025 an altercation occurred at the Turlin Moor Recreation Ground, during which a 14-year-old boy was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.

 

It was further reported that between 9pm and 10pm a man aged in his 50s was also assaulted at the location and that he sustained serious facial injuries.

 

Detective Staff Investigator Stevie Tiernan, of BCP CID, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this matter, and I understand there were a number of people in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

 

“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has captured any relevant footage, to please make contact with us.”
