Did you know that the Radioteleswitch Service is being switched off on the 30th June 2025? RTS communicates with the electricity meter which tells it when to switch between peak and off-peak tariffs. The switch-off will affect every customer who has a RTS meter in their home, and may mean their heating and hot water supply stop functioning as normal. RTS is an industry-wide service. All electricity suppliers are contacting impacted customers to offer them a smart meter. To find out more, an informal ‘drop-in’ advice session will be held at Ealing Central Library, 1st Floor, The Broadway on Wednesday 14th May 10am until 1pm.

There is still opportunity for people to volunteer to support these ‘drop-in’ sessions in areas of London. Training and support is provided. If you are interested, please do get in touch.
