Following reports of speeding on Fish Hill, Broadway, we have been very active in the area.

Sunday May 4th saw a day of action and cooperation between the Safer Neighbourhood Team, OPU and the Road safety Team.

Mobile patrols were performed throughout the day and speed enforcement was carried out.

One vehicle recorded in excess of 80 mph has been sent a Notice of intended Prosecution.

Officers who interacted with motorcyclists report that the interaction and message of safety was well received.

Overall, the standard of driving witnessed was respectful and safe.
