Community Update on Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) - Closure of Proactive Management Plan (PMP)

Dear Residents,

I would like to provide an update on our efforts to address Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) issues at Buckhurst Lane Multi-Storey Car Park, Leisure Centre, and Environmental Park in Sevenoaks.

The Proactive Management Plan (PMP) initiated to combat these challenges has now concluded.

Purpose and Effectiveness
The PMP was established to reduce ASB-related calls and enhance community safety. Since its inception, collaborative efforts with local councils and community stakeholders have yielded positive outcomes.

Effectiveness Analysis
Over the past year, despite an increase in reported incidents attributed to specific anomalies, the overall trend has shown progress.

Call Volume Analysis

From April 2024 to March 2025, there were 31 reported incidents, averaging 2.58 calls per month. While this represents an increase from previous periods, it includes anomalies that skewed data. A notable incident involving crime at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre contributed to this increase. However, intervention led to resolutions and subsequent declines in related incidents.

Future Monitoring and Closure:
Moving forward, while the PMP will be closed due to completed actions, police will continue monitoring the area to ensure sustained improvements.

Your ongoing vigilance and cooperation remain integral to maintaining a safe environment. Please continue to report any ASB incidents promptly.

Thank you for your continued support.
