Dear resident,

Yesterday, (08.04.25) we arrested Lee Stephen BENNETT (39 years) of Kipling Road, Oldham after he was stop searched in Derker and found in possession a lock knife.

He has been charged and bailed with possession of a bladed article and he will appear at Tameside Magistrates at a later date.

Operation Vulcan will continue with proactive patrols of your area using all the powers available to us to rid the area of knives and weapons.
