Good morning,
Apologies for the message sent out to you yesterday with an incorrect date - the correct date is Monday 19th May.
Hertsmere and Welwyn & Hatfield’s Community Safety Partnerships are delighted to invite you to an evening on child criminal exploitation and grooming. The evening will include a talk given by Junior Smart from St Giles. Junior is an expert in the field, has a PhD in teaching and has received an OBE for his dedication in tackling youth violence. Local youth related organisations will have stalls to talk about their services.
We welcome any parent, professional or community member to join us to learn more on these topics.
There will be free pizza provided as well as entry to a free raffle with the prize being a signed Arsenal football.
The evening will run from 6 – 8pm on Monday 19th May at Dame Alice Owen’s School, Dugdale Hill, Potters Bar, EN6 2DU. There is parking on-site.
You can book your place via the QR code below or in the leaflet attached. Please note that booking is not required to attend, but if you have any dietary requirements it is recommend to make us aware of these via the QR code so we can cater to any needs.
Please help us to spread the word about this event and share with colleagues, friends, parents, community members and via your social media channels. If you would like physical copies of the flyer to distribute please do let me know and we can provide these.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.
Kind regards,
