We will be using WMnow to tell you about actions we have taken regarding our newly agreed neighbourhood priorities following our recent PACT meeting.
If you wish to attend the next PACT meeting to provide your opinion on where your local Police priorities should lie, the next meeting will be held at 18:00 on Monday 2nd June at Bentley Community Centre, Wilkes Avenue.
Drug dealing Local neighbourhood Officers have been conducting patrols in known hotspot areas engaging with the community in Darlaston town centre. We have been on foot patrol around our canal network around Darlaston in relation to this and other issues and engaged with a large number of people who were pleased to see us in these areas. Speeding and parking around our schools PCSO’s have been at our schools are per our promise to our neighbourhood on all days possible, providing a presence and moving a small number of people parked inappropriately at schools in the Darlaston area.
Off road bikes/electric bikes Officers have been on patrol in hotspot locations and have responded to multiple calls in the Bentley area where off road bikes have been ridden anti socially.
Other actions 1 X suspect interviewed by NHT charged and remanded for 14 shop lifting offences 1 X suspect interviewed by NHT charged and remanded by 10 shop lifting offences 1 X suspect interviewed by NHT and bailed for a harassment investigation 2 CPN’s issued for on going harassment investigation NHT officers have been attending a large number of emergency calls to service as part of our duties this set to assist our Response colleagues.
