Good evening,

Local officers received a call from the manager of B&M, Brinnington on behalf of a female customer about a male that had stolen her brand-new pedal bike from outside the store. The officers attended and identified the male from CCTV and located him coming out of one of his friends’ gardens with the bike in hand. The bike was returned to the grateful owner and the male was spoken to with his mother at his home address. 

Registering your bike helps police and retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold.
