Tadcaster Anti-social behaviour

Over the past couple of weeks, the neighbourhood policing team has seen an increase in reports of youth related anti-social behaviour in and around Tadcaster Town Centre.

This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated, and we are now increasing our patrols in the affected areas to deter further ASB and to provide a reassuring presence to both residents and businesses.

We’re also working closely with our local partners and youth services to engage with our younger community to positively, offer support and guidance to prevent future incidents.

If your child spends time around Tadcaster then please speak to them about being respectful to others. It will be a minority spoiling it for the majority.

Residents know their communities better than anyone else, so it’s important that we are made aware of such incidents so that we can ensure to address the behaviour early on.

You can report anti-social behaviour to our force control room via 101 (999 in an emergency), or alternatively you can report it online via the North Yorkshire Police website.

With your help, we can continue to keep our community a safe place to live and work.
