Crime Report Kirkby in Ashfield and the Rural Villages for the week to midnight Wednesday 7 May 2025


Officers from the Kirkby Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

WILD RABBIT CAFE PORTLAND PARK, LINDLEYS LANE, NG17 9AL on Friday 16th May 2025 at 09:30-11:00am.

Burglary Dwelling

Burglary Other

At 5.14pm on Sunday 4 May in Little Oak Drive, Annesley, a report of travellers gaining access to the area around Lucinda House. A rear fire door was tried setting off the alarm.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between Noon and 2.00pm on Monday 5 May at Felley Priory, Underwood, a black and chrome Matchless G3L bike, left on a path in woods to the south of Felley Priory, was stolen.

Between 5.15pm and 9.00pm in Vernon Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a small 40cm x 40cm sage and brown table, left on the pavement outside a house, was stolen.

Criminal Damage

At 3.30pm on Monday 28 April in Portland Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of a lorry with a white cab, with writing on, and a red trailer, driving over and damaging bollards at the Ashfield Health and Wellbeing Centre.

ASB

At 11.09pm on Monday 5 May in Warren Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of a 13 year old male riding up and down the road on an electric bike doing wheelies. Described as white, blond hair, all black clothing and no helmet.
