Updates from your friendly Stechford & Yardley North Neighbourhood Team

Dear Residents of Stechford & Yardley North

Its been another busy week in your neighbourhood and here are a few updates ……

Our team of Neighbourhood Officers have been assisting response officers due to the high volume of logs being created but have found time to carry out the arrests of known shoplifters from Stechford Retail Park.

Officers have seized vehicles for No Tax & other motoring offences and you can follow our photos which are posted on X

Again motorists are not learning that parking on the Zig Zags at the Yew Tree will result in 3 penalty points and a fine

Did you know that if you notice vehicles parked illegally then you can take a photo and upload this on the following ……www.nextbase.co.uk/national-dash-cam-safety-portal

Our Street Watch volunteers will again be out on patrol on Tuesday 13th May with myself and happy for more volunteers to get involved and you can contact me on the following …..kenneth.walters@westmidlands.police.uk

Myself and PC Burton attended Audley School on 30/04/25 and engaged with 120 pupils about what we do and even showed them the police vehicle ( Great to meet the children )

BLOCKING KEY LESS VEHICLE THEFT

If you own a key less vehicle then please purchase a Defender Signal Blocking Pouch for you fob as this will prevent a contained key fob from transmitting, preventing relay attacks that offenders are currently using to steal key less vehicles

If you require any further information on this then please do not hesitate to contact me

Hope you all enjoy the Bank Holiday

Kind Regards
